Ephonne is a supernatural world that answers the question of why anthropomorphic, talking cartoon animals wear clothes.
The clothes are magic!
They grant animals sentience, allowing them to walk, talk & build societies. Above all clothes the most powerful are the puffy, white, four fingered gloves; the original magical clothing. But everything in this weird and wonderful world isn’t sunshine and dancing flowers.
There’s a dark magic, brewing for centuries that's now spilling out, turning animal folk into nightmarish piles of living tangled string mutations, across the coastal megalopolis of Altross.
Thankfully there are gloved heroes ready to fight, that can stretch their limbs, defy gravity, or bend reality to make objects appear from nowhere.

The first experimental “live work play” city of the future! A magical Megalopolis where people come from all over the world of Ephonne to experience the new hub of clothing, culture, enterprise and living. But along the edges and between the seams, something dangerous is seeping in.

Aly is the self proclaimed world’s biggest fan of Ra Racer (a live action magical drama). She can be a bit impetuous and is very social despite being kind of socially awkward. She’s the clumsiest person you’ll ever meet but has a big heart and means well by her actions.

Dunkan DuBoisenberry

Age: 22
Dunkan is what some people would call “having an old soul”. He’s very mellow, empathetic, a bit superstitious and enjoys a nice quiet corner to sit in and read a really old book. He’s very knowledgeable about charms, precious stones and old sewing techniques.
Clothing: a long scarf (slate and powder blue stripes), powder blue boots.

Hal is a very meticulous, organized and cautious fellow. He is the first assistant and manager of the Consuoh shop “Sew It Seams” He likes to bake when nervous, stressed or anxious (so all of the time) he’s also an amateur archeologist.
Clothing: purple tie (with cartoon fish bone embroidery).

Albie (Papa Albie) Almondte

Age: 87
The very upbeat and energetic owner of the Consuoh shop “Sew It Seams”. He’s adventurous and helpful, a very social person, wise and knowledgeable about fabrics, strands, charms as well as many other things. He has traveled the world and lived in Altross since before it transformed into the modern megalopolis it is today.
Clothing: butter yellow sweater, clover tie & hat, burnt brown soft shoes.

Marshal Sharlon Poec

Age: 36
Marshal Poec is one of the greatest strategists and members of the modern Zero Guard. She is very intelligent, quick witted and has a dry (almost dark) sense of humor. She is a workaholic who spends almost all of her time in the office or going over case files and seems to thrive under stress. She is very suspicious of people and their intentions and takes a long time to open up to new people and make friends.
Her closest friend is former Zard member JaeChiss Safouss who often chides her for her lack of fashion sense as she is rarely seen outside of either a work uniform, a basic jumpsuit or cargo pants and a plain button down shirt.
Clothing: Zero Guard Field Marshals uniform (most often worn), Forest green with sun yellow piping, sap green shoulder cape (with fern green underside), sap green, silver blade capped all terrain combat boots.

JaeChiss is a very private individual whose stoicism can be off putting to many before they get to know him. He has a deep interest in couture, especially historical pieces. He is the former top paranormal investigations, eliminations and defense detective of the Zero Guard. He now works as a financial investigator for a very powerful private firm.
Clothing: Indigo blue single breasted suit, silver-grey roll-neck sweater, coffee black lace up pointed silver toe cap formal shoes.

About The Artist
Solomon Mars, is a Peabody Award winning 2D Animator, Story Artist and Comic Book Artist from Atlanta, Georgia. He has been working as a visual storyteller for more than 20 years, in both the mediums of Comic Books and Animation. They received their BFA, majoring in 2D animation with a minor in Storyboarding. Likes Star Wars, Kamen Rider, Ghostbusters and Ducktales to name a few.
